UX/UI: Microsoft Azure
--
Overview
Microsoft Azure was migrating to a new design system. As a UX/UI designer, I worked with Program Managers and teamed with Senior Designers to produce Azure admin experiences utilizing Microsoft's Ibiza design system. I provided iterations on design ideas to re-imagine user experiences utilizing whiteboard sketching, powerpoint comps, and high fidelity prototyping. I collaborated on creating materials for UX research, and delivered specs and redlines to the dev team.

Creating solutions
I worked on scenarios in the following Azure admin sections: user and group management; app management and licensing; domain and directory management; dashboards.
I used the following process to move from ideation to high fidelity prototype production.
Requirements gathering
Meetings with PMs allowed for brainstorming and gathering of feature requirements. From whiteboarding, sketching, and ideation—information was captured to apply to wireframes and low fidelity prototyping.
Wireframing
The most efficient tool for wireframing and low fidelity prototyping for this team was Powerpoint. We created content libraries and design templates in Powerpoint to help the whole team collaborate.
High fidelity prototyping
High fidelity prototyping was done with Adobe Illustrator and a proprietary prototyping tool, made available by the Ibiza framework team. The tool generated interactive HTML prototypes.
